Oh to have been there. Going by this mid-fi bootleg (a fave), it must have been an incredible night.

They were never as good again once he was gone. Huge loss.

@@ramankalasouski1686 Nowhere near the same. He was alright but wavered in tempo all the time and did not have his drums tuned well. McGee was a brutally effective machine with a heavy insistent foot and knew how to tune and balance a kit. Magic drummer.
