Absolutely gorgeous. The painting looks richer and more interesting than the photograph. I especially love the way the cloth was rendered.

This is so helpful, instead of seeing Mark's painting (which is intimidatingly perfect!) Andres painting is beautiful and I can definitely see myself accomplish what he did (ie. less intimidating), having Mark narrate the process is so helpful. One of the best teacher and painter! So grateful!

Thanks to you and your student, Andres! I'm glad to hear about your Geneva company :) A few years ago, I bought a set of Geneva oils, and really like them! Since I do not get the chance to paint very much, my paint tubes are still mostly full. By the time I need more, I do hope Geneva is still in business and thriving, since the products are superior quality.

I enjoyed that critique very much. So glad to hear that Geneva Fine Art will be keeping the lights on and stocking back up again. I have been painting for decades with acrylic, and I decided it's time to paint with oils too. I started looking into buying some supplies, at Blick and Jerry's, etc., and then I thought of you and the paint line you had developed. Can't wait to put my order in. Keep us posted about when the stock hits the shelves again! Thanks

This post is some great news Mark- Super; you are working back into the oil paint manufacturing and sales again. Your system of checking and posting others art work, in there progression sounds good. Even though, you’ve committed to these two ventures. I do want to wish you the best of luck and I will follow your posts as well. PS Please consider manufacturing ‘water based oil paints’ also.

Will you give me your opinion on people that say putting oil in paint will cause the painting to not hold up over time? I love your painting videos and I have learned more from them than any other video on youtube. I really trust your opinion and would love to hear what you think. Thank You!
