Ling Chi is back getting into the spooky spirit of the season with a simple owl painting.
Ling Chi is painting on our Premium Double Xuan Paper. This is a true double thickness (two sheets of paper glued together) xuan paper that provides excellent moisture control white still showing vibrant colors. It is a Vintage paper (aged, limited quantities, irreplaceable after it is sold out). Sold in convenient 24 cut sheet (13¼" x 18") packages.

Hi, why did you put glue to water and ink? Does it not harm the brush? Thank you

Hello Magda! The glue water is used for more moisture control on specific strokes. It is a way to target moisture control to specific strokes without having to affect the others. It will not harm the brush and there is small amounts of glue used as a binder in many colors. The glue we use is water soluble so just take care to wash it off your brush after use and the brush should be fine. Thanks for watching and for leaving us a comment with this helpful question!
