I can't tell you how much of an influence this video had on me when I was all of 14. This video opened my eyes to snowboarding. The Art of Flight, TITA, may be the best snowboard videos ever made, but this is and always will be my favourite snowboard video ever!!!

It became not cool then forum came and JP walker made sliding and jibbing everything cool again. 😎 and a second resurgence of snowboarding for me . Got a full special blend setup and walker 151 and got back . Man this era was the best. Best tunes , gear was so DOPE , I can't gwt with all the tight fit these days . Wide stance , baggy pants 👖 and twin tip . Dulled edges and tee shirt and motocross gloves park sessions ! Damn this was a memory jerker!!!! So rad to stumble on it and relive those times .

The Mack Dawg movies changed the game! The sport had sorta been leaning toward skiers [ clothing ... style = 0% it was basically a sport of the elite ] and then these movies came out! wtf!... [to be fair, felt like a lot of the parts were there but suddenly it Mack Dawg brought it together.] It went to skating ^^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It got the style its know for today. Back then it was the rebel sport, [95% outnumbered by morns] in the middle of the skier wars. Today its been largely gentrified [skiers and snowboarders actually looked like a different social click.... today - most of you look the same- like a bunch of skiers- well,as long as u have fun] but it does feel like more regular people are on the slope which is good. I rode 5 days a week at this time and these tapes never left the VCR..... burned out a VCR watching this thing. Out of all the amazing Mack Dawg's movies, this prob had the greatest influence on me... I learned every trick I could. It looks like a few skiers watched it too [lol... if u don't understand what I'm saying u have 0 history of ur sport]. Thanks to everyone involved in making this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- This was a pivotal moment in the sport. This is a cornerstone of what snowboarding should be!! These movies don't get enough credit....

This still one of the best board porn movies ever

This video and soundtrack bring me back to those days right away! I watched this video literally everyday after school till I finally made it to Hood. As silly as it is, this video set me on the path I'm currently still working. Having the tape packed away from several winter moves, I haven't seen it in a while...has the same effect it always did. I got this on my 16th birthday and because of it, every penny I made for the next 9 months went to all new gear and a trip to Mt. Hood the summer of 98. Pretty much all my worldly adventures are due to snowboarding and Simple Pleasures is responsible for that initial response (hell, even at 36 I still get some goose bumps).
