OMG!! These are more mini than miniature! So adorable! Can you use air dry or bake clay?

I always find air dry clay doesn't take detail well and always cracks. Polymer clay is easier too.

@@lindadagley5822 It depends on the varnish - I do have a video on varnishes and sealers. Mod Podge can go sticky, so I would not use that.

Do you ever use a bonding agent with your work? Like Bake and Bond?

Yes. I use Fimo liquid, but only to stick unbaked clay to baked clay.

I finished my gnome and bake them finally.. I was wondering hopefully you check your videos... I was hoping to make little gnomes that you can put a little stick in them and stick them in your plants... Can you lay your gnomes down in the oven to bake them...

If you want to lay them down, probably the safest way is to lay it on a bed of cornstarch, so it doesn't lose its shape. Personally, I would bake, then drill a hole in the bottom and glue the stick in.

@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns thanks ..I used a foam ball and baked in the oven that way...worked out great... Didn't realize how much fun it was until yesterday and today when I spent the days working on them there's so much fun .. I need some more clay but we're in the middle of a third lockdown and I don't think Michael's is open until June 8th I have enough clay to make probably two more...
