A rigging ring is the most convenient rigging solution. I love the rings on the whoopie sling.

Heck yeah ! I have one on a whoopie sling I like for some things... but I'm partial to these ultra slings now, just so easy to deal with and versatile !!

what is the difference between the Whoopi’s sling and the ultra sling?
@IcutTrees
@IcutTrees 6 месяцев назад
@@toneloc415ultra sling requires no tightening or loosening like a whoopie does its multiple fixed knots to put your device through

I've been running 1/2" rigging line on a large Tenex ring that's on a heavy whoopie Sling along with a smaller redirect Tenex. It's all anchored by a port-a-wrap.

This channel is good enough to charge for viewing. This guy (Josiah I think) is every bit as knowledgeable and professional as Rich Hattier or Taylor Hamel.

Notch rings are awesome but the fiori's ring is my favorite rigging ring by far so many options. The fiori's ring can run two 3/4 inch ropes at the same time through one ring.

I'll have to check that one out. I've never played with one of those. Of course It would be a rare day indeed when I would want to run two 3/4 " ropes through the same TIP... that would have to be on one HEFTY sling!

Love to see the Shizll rope slider reviewed. Or at least show how it's used to tend a prusik.

Awesome technique using the two rings was wondering how it compares to a safe bloc and have you ever tried the bend right rings. All I own are x rings and a safe bloc but have heard nothing but good about bend right 👍👍👍👊 stay safe

I’m about to get one of these setups. I had another question, what situation would you use a double dreaded sling with two xrings on it? Also, just did my first self rigging yesterday. It worked like a charm.

I learn a lot from your videos, thank you. I wanted to ask you what is your favorite rigging rope? I am interesting in rigging, and the 24 strand looks interesting, vs a 3 strand.

With the small bend ratio of that ring are both legs of rope carrying the weight of the piece making it double the weight at ring ?

The common denominator of profit organization is believing in something that hasn't hit the market yet but then again it'll always be too late once success hits at its limit and then it'll be too late for anybody to jump on the red carpet

At some point I’ll do a video on negative rigging with whip tackle but that will take some time, it’s no easy setup

Not a fan of them... no mid line attaching like 99% of blocks do.

Ultra slings are awesome, but the rigs are too grippy and are a hassle if you have to retie

I'm a big fan of using shives over the rings, I'm not a big guy, and my rotator cuffs r jacked, so less friction is my friend. Work smarter not harder!
@Stridertrees
@Stridertrees 4 года назад
@@davidmoore8741 how are you using your rotator cuffs when Rigging? the primary advantage of the increased friction is the DECREASED load on the TIP, but blocks/pulleys are convenient for midline attaching like you said
