Love the blue plate from England! We were stationed at Woodbridge when my husband was in the Air Force, which is very close to Melton! ❤

You need to put a glass top over your butter. You can find those small wooden cheese servers with the glass cloche all the time at thrift stores. That blue coat looked really good on you. That is a good color.

Enjoyed this video so much! Your pitcher is a salt glaze piece. Some salt glaze pieces are from the 1800s. I’ve seen many people mix the blue Currier and Ives pieces, and it looks great. Your small plate is old too, and some would even consider it flow blue. My kitchen is blue, and I love it. I have butcher block countertops. My daughter has some granite and isn’t happy…claims it’s hard to take care of it. May just be her experience….it’s on her bathroom vanity.

4:51 These little plates are indeed Currier & Ives, and they were made by the Royal USA Company between 1950 and 1970. This pattern is usually called "Ox House," although I'm not sure that's its official name. Very cute! 7:28 I'm not completely sure, but that looks like a vintage funerary basket used to hold flowers. My favorite is the Charles Allerton & Sons flow blue plate you showed at the end. Stunning and highly collectible!

I heard someone say that that set of plates didn't match her moms. Currier and Ives dishes have different scenes for the different sizes, same with some other blue transfer ware sets. I even have a large Currier and Ives plate with a floral border, not the traditional scoll pattern but have not found any more like it.

I wish you could have gotten the blue 💙 one

I understand why you are drawn to feather down pillow inserts because they look high end. My aunt gifted me some, however I just could not enjoy them when I learned that the bird must give it's life for us to enjoy this home decor item. And when I could feel the feathers poking at me even through the cover, it creeped me out.

The butter plate, the 1/2 cup and the large pitcher were my favorite. Looks like a fun thrifting trip. I am finding your videos on the quiet side lately. I have both volumes turned up high, unless my hearing is going.😔
