Please don't jump into stuff like what Meredith Duxbury (spelling?) does. It's not beginner and usually not flattering (or fiscally manageable). Although, you should always do what makes you feel beautiful and confident in your makeup. There are a million ways to wear it, and while it's always okay to take advice from people who love you (because we've all been guilty of looking back at photos from 15 years ago thinking, "Why didn't I *listen?* My brows, foundation, lipstick, etc. looked insane!") always remember that as long as *you* feel beautiful and you are achieving your desired aesthetic, that's what matters at the end of the day. But of course, especially at the beginning, watch all the tutorial videos! They are the best! I'm 31 and I am still learning the best ways to do a lot of basic stuff, especially because some things won't be one size fits all for every face. My friend just gifted me some bronzer, which I know I need, and I'm just now looking for videos to figure out how to use it, lol!

You’re not supposed to do blush that way. Although it’s placed on the apples of your cheeks when you’re smiling, when you aren’t smiling, the blush placement is low and drags your face down. Blush should be placed on your cheeks when you’re face is at rest - NOT SMILING - to make sure it is high enough regardless of your facial movement.
