Hi Dr. Lauren! Thank you for thanking your time to drop all these information. My seven months old still doesn’t roll from back to tummy. She can roll from her tummy to her back; this is thanks to her deep dislike for tummy time. She learnt how to roll from her belly to her back because she hates tummy time and does everything to get back on her back during tummy time. Could you please suggest any tips that we can try to help her roll from back to tummy?

Hi Zainab, thank you so much for the comment. Back to belly requires a different set of skills than belly to back and your child's dislike for tummy time is super common as a motivating factor to learn how to roll belly to back (how a lot of kids learn this skill!). The best resource for you would be my book 📚 Tummy Time & Learning to Roll - amzn.to/3u2NKqk (affiliate) because it will break down back to belly including a checklist for what may be blocking progress toward this milestone. It also comes with a free online video course that breaks down all the sections with videos and makes the checklists downloadable/printable. If you are in a location that does not have access to amazon, please let me know via email info(at)drlaurenbaker.com The biggest reasons for struggle with back to belly though since you asked are usually these: - difficulty with mobility of the upper trunk due to tightness) - difficulty bringing the arms across the body - weakness in the sides of the body - coordination of legs so they might get stuck on their side all of these are addressed in the book :) You can also book a 1:1 online parent consultation here at any time if you'd like more time to ask more specific questions on rolling: drlaurenbaker.clientsecure.me/request/service
