Being on the water when trout are slashing and swirling at large Travelling Sedge or Motor Boat Caddis is one of the most exciting stillwater experiences. For many years, the Mikulak Sedge was my go-to pattern. But my Synthetic Sedge works equally well and takes much less time to tie.
