I cut all my hair off because it was falling out but now it's growing back and I don't want it long anymore... And after seeing you do this it may stay short forever. 😁
I got tired of doing my back length hair and I was hesitant to let it all go. But this video and how beautiful you are with the short hair- I went home and cut it the same day. I feel so freeeeeee and I get to sleep in! TFS gorgeous!!
Same here. I’m tired of doing my natural hair and I don’t want to perm it. It’s too long and too thick. Plus I’m in grad school (too busy) Time to cut it off.
I like the simplicity my girl. I cut off all my hair too.. many reasons but main one was that I didn't want to spend precious time on it any more. I appreciate your tips and you're beautiful 😘
Love it. I love cutting my own hair. Oh the freedom. I have a TWA and feel so free, light and unemcumbered. You and your hair are adorable. I so feel you about hair. I don’t have time for all of that either.
Nice to see someone else who doesn’t like fooling with their hair. I’ve tried off and on most of my adult life to wear my hair long. It always makes me look old. Now at almost 60, I’m big chopping it as soon as COVID19 goes on vacation, old buzzard. 🤣 No more lye, no more dye, no more heat. Give us our free! ✊🏾
It helps alot. Thank you for taking the time, I am forever fighting with mine and end up wearing wigs...now its breaking like crazy...I have to get back to my fro
I’m super late BUT I loved it. My hair is growing out with absolutely the sickest shape 🤢 and I’ve watched a few videos but I don’t trust myself with scissors - I definitely handle clippers much better. Thanks for posting this. Gotta run 🏃♀️ to watch more of your videos. I’m liking. I’m subscribing. 😉
Thanks for sharing and being real your video was informative and honest. I love your hair. Your very pretty and that cut looks great on you. I love my natrual hair After 20 years of relaxing with chemicals. I finally had enough especially when I noticed my hair started thinning more on the side and neck line. So I stopped and went natural about 8 months ago I did the big Chop with clipper wearing a short curly Afro now. I have to admit I was scared because I had not seen my own natural hair in so long since college. Did know what to do?? But I did want to see for myself how to learn my curl pattern to manage my own hair. Hey, now just twist wash and go is the best! And I have to agree with you about those Cantu products they also work very well for my hair as well. That was the first product I used when I went natural so I'm basically to my surprise I will verify your method is correct it works! I thought I was using to much curl pudding but i use about round 2 Tbsp of curl pudding work it through my hair with my fingers. And boom.. The curls do pop so yeah I'm doing the same thing as you demonstrated in this video. The only diffrent thing is I'm using a hair sponge. About Plastic caps.. I don't do well on me sleeping in them. It's that crinkle noise, when I shift or turn my head in bed drives me nuts!! 😨 That plastic cap will be tossed on the floor girl.. I sleep in a silk hair bonnet inside of plastic cap with scarf the bonnet work holds my hair fine I get up fluff it and go! I do use Cantu moisture spray sometimes if it's been a day or two. I hope this has helpped any others to go natrual ..Thanks so much for sharing this!😗😆😆😆
Amazing look on you you did great on your tutorial love to see more of you new subscriber thanks for the tip I never slept with the moisturiser in my hair all night need to try this
I'm sure you're not! That's the hard part about natural hair products...some works for your hair and some doesn't. To be honest, I can't say for sure that the Cantu leave-in is actually the BEST for my hair...it just works well enough.
It can seem that way but once you're used to it, it goes fast. To style it right after a wash still takes much less work than when you have a full head of hair just because you no longer have to spend time detangling. The REAL work is maintaining it throughout the week smh.
