What is a bee hive? Its a place where the entire life cycle of the bee is found. Simple is where you want to be with constructing a hive. First.. this was not a simple build. If you have a table saw, then you're 99 percent there, a drill, and glue. My hives take 1/3 the time to build. Maybe i should do a video showing how i build mine.
It appears to be some species of White Pine , also maybe a few pieces of Yellow Pine as well. I have worked with these species a lot and so I recognize them, i also know that many Bee Hives are constructed from Pine. Just try to find know free wood when ripping narrow piece though ! Good Luck.

А кормушка bee feeder я туди зробив плотик мостик із кедра:: cider і по краям об вернув трубочкою для коктейля… і защіпив стейплепом. Бджоли не тонуть ! Good looking beehive but unfortunately not useful. Big pieces of wood (sides of boxes) must be cuted and glue. 300mm wooden olates wil broke because of weather and temperature.. (((
you guys are an accident waiting to happen, NEVER wear cloves working on woodworking machinery, Ive seen guys take off all their fingers because the blade caught part of the glove. Your ethics are so bad, didn't watch it all. Im surprised you have all your fingers. After 56 yrs of woodworking, Ive never cut myself, most of my friends in the field are missing 1 finger to whole hands. LEARN TO BE SAFE.
