Would he need to worry about that, if the table stays inside? Ive built a similar table a few years ago, actually it was 3 nest set. Havnt had any issues with splitting or anything. The varnish developed hairline cracks withing the first year. But after sanding down and revarnishing, its been fine.
@@patriciaoudart1508 You are correct when it comes to the initial drying process, but the wood will also expand and contract from season to season every year after that. A table this long can easily see a few mm worth of total movement along its length. Either spaces will form between some of the slats or the corner joints will separate from the stress.

Nice work again! I wonder if you protected the surface with wax or oil, and if that changed its look. And I was astonished you didn't build the doweller yourself... 😉

Здравствуйте , скажите пожалуйста , мы начали заниматься столярными изделиями . Но когда настанет зима у нас нет возможности работать в тёплом помещении . Можно ли работать с деревом при отрицательных температурах , не произойдёт ли с ним не чего , после того как изделие окажется в тепле ?
