Nice. This does work great for a lot of different soaps, shampoos, etc. I have an electric soap dispenser for my hand soap which I also made a video for.
Just installed one of these in my Airbnb.....I decided to mount it with screws and anchors so I had to drill holes....didn't want to take a chance with the adhesive. It's beautiful and works perfectly with the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash I chose. I love it!
I have had mine for about 2 years. I absolutely love them. But my hubby is not “gentle” and has broken one and broken the holder to secure to the wall. Does anyone know of a way to secure it to the wall without it falling and breaking?????
i have the same concern, however, it has now been about 8 months, and still holding strong. I figure since I placed it at the back of the shower where water doesn't usually spray, it's less likely to peel and fall off the wall.
Mine fell off the wall after one shower. Customer service were hopeless and I ordered a new backplate as they don’t sell a new sticky pad alone. This one lasted two showers but this time when it fell it smashed the lids and one of the pumps. So two fulls sets of shampoo, conditioner and soap wasted, a lot of cleaning. A total cost (including the soap etc) of £220 for 3 showers. All installation was done following the instructions to the letter.
I've been using 4 of these for 8 years in a commercial business where they are used 8+ times per day. The only thing I wish they would offer is selling the black o-rings separately since they are the part that fails first.
I've tried gorilla glue too and it still falls off. My rental has a plastic insert shower and can't figure out what to use to stick it since I can''t use the screws.
I tried the adhesive way, and filled up my soap and while I was running errands it all came crashing down. There was soap everywhere. I recommend drilling it into the wall.
That’s strange. Mine is holding on like a champ and has not had any issues for the past 8 months. Is your soap dispenser mounted on tile? I assume you also wiped the surface down before mounting it to make sure there are no particles or debris between the surface and 3M adhesive.
It’s got holes in the plastic plate for you to drill and secure it to the wall. If you are installing it on tile, you will need a tile drill to pre-drill the holes. You can use silicone to cover the screws and seal the holes.
I’ve had this unit for over a year and i would give it 1 star out of 5. First it does NOT work well with different body soaps. Secondly it sticks when you pump it. The build quality seems solid but i would NOT recommend it
Thanks for sharing. I haven't tried thicker body washes. It seems to work well with mine - at least for now. It also does work well with our thick conditioner, which is shown in the video. In the instructions, it did say that you shouldn't use any liquids with beads, salts, or additives in them to prevent jamming. I haven't experienced it sticking either, but I have only had it for a little over 3 months. I'll keep an eye on it and will update if I start experiencing similar issues down the road.
how is it holding up now, as of 2024? ive seen a video of a guy using it for a while and the dispenser has started to corrode and got very dirty and nasty, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AMBG8onHm1E.html is it like that for you too?
