Hello You said you have used it for 5 months, have you checked the printer if ink leaks because that is the problem I have about installing ciss or refilling ink cartridges. What about air bubbles in the pipe?

Ciss install done ??? Does cartidge prints unlimited ? or does the cartidge got failure after mentioned page count?

Nice questions but unfortunately the author will not reply

1. The bottom of ink tank should be at least at the same height or above the cartridge (UPDATE! - not above but slightly lower or exactly at the same level of cartridge ink holes otherwise it's gonna create overpressure and the ink will be dripping from printhead and it's gonna color insides of the printer ), so no bubbles or air come inside, make sure rubber cartridge plugs are air-tight as well; if it's below, it's gonna flow back a little bit, thats why it's needed to use syringe to blow air to ink tank to make it work/release air - EDIT: i did that and it's detrimental, the ink will overflow (printhead dripping) from the cartridge when already air-tight installation - fix black color ink with sucking from printhead and refill the container; cant do for colored, only maybe using needle and syringe and suck each color separately from filling holes and refill given tanks; just add the proper amount of ink into tank and preserve the tank on the same level as cartridge. 2. Experiment, make sure you use the closest inks to original, or at least to what you used before, no experience at my side. 3. After CISS is installed and not using printer for the whole time, close all of the wholes with rubber plug - in total 8 holes. when printing small holes are open; when filling, close the small hole, whilst big hole forthe ink is open and start pouring ink into a tank. 4. no, once per month-two would be sufficient with color; if clogged use suction tool repeatedly. To no avail, put cartridge it into mildly warm water for 5 minutes, then suck out with vacuum tool, repeat steps until it works, print test page and also clean the print head with printer software after it's unclogged make sure the ink tank is at least 1/3 always full.

Will it work with a used washed cartridge 802(which has been rejected by the printer) or do I have to buy a new one? Please reply.

They are air holes and we seal it so the cartridges dont have any as our ink tank have them now

yes, you have to seal other hole as it ensures suction efficiency, you wont suck air but instead ink, make sure the hole are air-tight.

get a universal ciss kit ... make sure it includes all the proper accessories like plugs and ribbons tubes for the colors to pass ...other wise its all the same ..i think the only thing that varies afterwards is the size of the ink tank
