I have a Garrett AT Max and the Simplex and love them both. I'm amazed at how similar the VDI readings are. Nickels ring up different and the Simplex can't be beat for the price!
Seems the simplex may have a wee bit faster processor! 😂 But... Been swinging Whites since the 70's. 5 or 6 machines. ZERO repairs! That overload signal is a beeotch though!!
I have used the simplex for two years. I replaced my MXT with simplex. At least for me, the simplex is far inferior to the MXT. I just bought a mx sport to use instead of simplex. O for got to mention the MXT was dropped in a creek.
I look at those older machines and I think how the hell did you find anything with them. I think then maybe you just had to work harder or miss a lot. The simplex is so fast for the money, 14khz machine , looking forward to what Nokta can do with the new release , I’d be happy with the exact capabilities as the simplex but with multi sim frequencies
If I swung the older machines as fast as I swing these newer machines I would only be able to swing those beasts for maybe an hour or so and still go home with an empty bag and sore shoulder.
Ive noticed the small sf24 on the Simplex will null out on big Iron. Goes completely quiet. Saw it for the first time on a cannonball.. That wasnt good... LOL
This may be a stupid question, but why do you do these tests where you know there is tons of iron? Does it help the test, for learning, just curious, getting started in the hobby!
I was adamant my F75 was the best and I refused to see the light.. Im glad I got over that!! Now I own too many OTHER machines!! Hahaha.. I own the SImplex, Anfibio Multi, Nox800, Vanquish 540 and I just bought the Deus with 9" x35 coil//// Im having so much fun detecting now after seeing the light... F75 is in deep storage its sad to say in a way... Oh and so is my Whites Beach Hunter 300. I forgot to mention that machine also...
I will be selling my older whites machines here very soon. Each detector has it's places it thrives in. The Deus is just so light it is almost like you are just swinging air. It may lack in depth in my soil but it makes up for it with the tones.
