so this is whites newest release of a older release of a new release. mx sport the detector that works when it wants to.looking for a new new release in 3 months of same mx sport.

why didn't they put wireless headset in it?

I don't know what the guy got for making this video, if you ask me, he should of got life......without parole!

I have to agree with Sam on the quality of this review. This is the worst review I have ever seen from White's Electronics. Someone who knows the basics of metal detectors at White's should have reviewed this review before it was released. The person giving the review had a very difficult time explaining or following through on statements that he made. You also could not see any of the adjustments that he was making on the MX Sport because he was too far away from the control box for the viewer to see the adjustments and their outcome. Finally, the example that the reviewer was making on the piece of plywood did not show anything of value, especially in how the MX Sport handles iron, rings and coins when all three are grouped together. It seems that all he was doing was placing blame on the coins and other samples because they were of low quality by having corrosion, being very worn and having a green patina and these shortcomings is what actually caused the poor results of his review. I am 73 years and was a Electronics R/D Design Engineer for a major development company for 40 years. I have owned many detectors since I made my first metal detector at age 16 and I am still very active and enjoy metal detecting. In fact, yesterday I purchased a White's MX 7 which happens to be very similar to the MX Sport. I made my decision to purchase the MX7 only after watching many RU-vid video reviews and also reading many written reviews. However, I did not consider this video at all in my decision making because if I did, I would not have bought a Whites detector. I know of the problems that White's had after they released this detector but from dealing with White's through the years and watching videos and reading personal reviews, I am sure that White's has corrected these problems because that is what you have to do if you expect to sell any of these detectors after making a poor showing when first released and NO!, I do not have any connection with White's.
