I watched a tutorial and the way she sewed the strap, I thought was genius! She had the straps wrong sides together and turned the ends so the right sides were facing each other. She sewed across the ends and down a little ways and backstitched. She did the other end the same way and turned just that part right side out. Iron the strap, with the opening in the middle and topstitch the strap to close the opening. No hand stitching!

Thanks for the sewalong! The thread/fabric was a little bit hard to see because they were so light.
