Hi. Amazing garden...I am impressed with the idea of collecting the extra water in pet bottles. I want to know more about insect traps in yellow and blue cards. You said it's a pheromone traps. I want to learn more about it.
Thanks for the detailed explanation. In this video, you have showed us a tray with water and plants roots are drenched in that water (Simple hydroponic). Could you please let me know what all nutrient you have added to that water?
Great work! I really like the idea. Any way we can do all this indoors? Say I'm living in a flat and I would like to have a small hydroponic farm in a separate room that could produce enough to feed just me. Possible? :)
First of all thank you very much , Can any one provide the information that from where i can get training on this method because i am planing to use this method for Corporate level tomato farming.
Nice introduction to hydroponics. I have a question: If the garden is covered in shade net, how does pollination take place ? Do you take any special measures to pollinate the plants ?
Is there a one stop online Hydroponics E-Commerce shop in India which sells all that is required to start a little Roof top farm (Nutrients, Seeds, Base, Rock wool... etc.,?
Patriotic-Nish with indoor Farming, the weather outside is irrelevant, you can control it to suit whatever you are growing. as for if its a profitable business, that would depend on what you are growing, on the technologies you are using and on the Market conditions of were you are conducting your Business.
Well I can say that in Louisiana there is a guy that started hydroponics growhouse and grew it with a contract to the area Wal-Mart's to sell kale. The hydroponic kale I purchased in the Wal-Mart there is better than kale where I now live. And it was cheaper (could be introductory pricing set forth to the grower for the contract) but it had a deep green and they were full bunches. The kale I have basically quit buying here is small yellow tinged weak looking and more expensive. Not only that, the bunches are 1/3 the size. Wal-Mart if you don't know is an extremely large store that has infested the US with supposed cheap prices that were originally US made. But then you could have a indentured servant organization close to you that "employs" workers. So there's that.
+krrrruptidsoless Thank U...One person who I know is actually doing it here and I know about walmart and I know few things and when i went there I found it very complex bcz he is doing few experiments with it and bcz there is risk involved in it so he has few partners also to cover up the loss if any and they had a water storage area as well with a RO system installed in it and to sprinkle the water there was a big arrangement and poly house also needs a good investment ..!
This video has been very informative and useful . I have couple of questions on Hydroponics . Can you please give me the contact email or no and the name to whom i can ask ? with high regards vimal
If you want to learn how to do something cheaply see how a third world country does it. All the American hydroponic videos feature expensive pumps and plumbing even metal framework.
+damatrix1001 not true, it all boils down to psychology and value for money, if you have a big budget from the start, you certainly wouldn't care much about it. example Nasa. and if you have a low budget, you use that money to it's maximum potential. example : SpaceX, ISRO
***** I know it just seems that most people in developed countries post these videos where they do it as a hobby or for health benefits rather than being cost effective is all.
Didn't ancient Egyptians grow lotuses in man made pools. And isn't there an architectural water garden that was discovered from a dig of ancient Babylonia.
