Seems like instead of blocking the check with c3 White should play Bd2 with the idea of exchanging his bad Bishop for Black's good Bishop that leaves White with a grip on the dark squares.
Bd2 is really harmless, Black exchanges, plays ...Ne7, ...Nd7 and ...c5 with good play. The bishop on f5 is anything but bad and there in no white grip on the dark squares.
@@gmalexcolovic do you plan some sort of "extension courses" for ur simplified courses, especially e4, to show some other approaches like maybe italian game (or something else) and other approaches against the different answers black can play? That would be at least for me an intabuy to round up and extend my opening knowledge.
