Wow! I've enjoyed all of your finely, detailed paintings for so long, but you are outdoing yourself with this gorgeous loose painting. 😍 I think that wonky calligraphy brush was just the right tool for this style. 😂 As always, your attention to detail and seeing how to break down a complex subject is so encouraging. I always get scared when it comes to adding the darker values. I've done so much work on the underpainting, I'm afraid i'll ruin it. Thanks for giving us an example of how to be brave and finish the job.

No worries!! I don't mind adding darker values but I always miss calculate the lighter values so I have to add more after adding the darkest values 🙃
