I've been watching you paint for about two years now... not only have your videos been perfected, so has your painting skills! Thank you for sharing what you know!!!!
I love how you edited down the background and put the focus on the boats. The dark and shadows make the boats really pop. This painting turned out really nice!
That's nice Liron. So well simplified, as buildings are always incredibly complex. Your background is very believable!! You know, whenever you do your first washes, I always think THIS time he's messed up! The colours always look so strong and unlikely. You NEVER do! Lesson learned -again. Question: How should we know when a reference photo is NOT good to use? I have the feeling I use wrong pictures.
Always learn something from your videos. I just really like the way you teach and I always feel like I’m learning from someone who is a relatable/real person... Thank you for that, Liron. I liked the way you simplified that background. Simplify,,,, it sounds so easy. 🤨
Thank you ☺️🙏🏼🙏🏼 Haha - yes - it can definitely be more challenging than it appears sometimes. But after a while of experimenting it starts to click and gets SO FUN!
It is great ability. I am Korean watercolor artist. Nice to meet you. And the order in which ships are made one by one is very educational. Very satisfied.
I love these kind of paintings you do. I hope you keep doing these and don't outgrow them. This one reminds me of of postcards I like to get while sightseeing a new city. Love love.
Hi Liron, your videos always make me want to paint, but when I try to imitate you I always mess up and I can't even buy your "Frustration Free Watercolor Course", because I'm Italian and I don't understand English very much. I'm in a quagmire.
Sorry to hear about that! What goes wrong in the painting process? Let me know more and maybe I'll be able to help (: Also feel free to send me examples to Liron@FreeWatercolor.com and I'll take a look.
