When simplifying belongings, keep the minimal that you use everyday. The rest put in a box and see if you retrieve anything in a month, if not, you don't need it. When decluttering, if it's a maybe or just in case, make it a NO.
Do you ever show your home as examples? I just noticed you talk and show clips but are they your home. I always watch/like your videos but was just curious.
The first change I made when trying to minimize my belongings and have a more tidy home was doing what Katy says about getting rid of excess dishes. I still keep a set of 12 for my family of 4 but what I do differently is immediately empty the dishwasher and put all clean dishes away after I run the dishwasher. This was a game changer! My kitchen is always clean and tidy now because as soon as dishes are used they are rinsed and immediately put in the dishwasher. No more sink pile up 🙌! Once the dishwasher is full sometimes after a day or 2 I run the dishwasher again, then immediately empty it again. I wanted a clean tidy kitchen since this is the heart of our home and this seriously was the sweet spot for me.
