Phenomenal! I'm a rock-blues man, but this man's vocal performance is as good as it gets. I don't know if he is currently in or out of fashion, but one day he WILL be recognised as one of the greatest vocal performers of all time. He has everything!!
Mick is an amazing artist, I am in the US & never heard of him until the 'tube'! What a gifted artist he is - his concerts live must be a thrill beyond my imagination...great song!!!!!
this song brings back memories... my son walked around singing this when he was only 2 years old. He is 25 now... I think I will send this to him. Always loved Simply Red.. yes pure talent!
He's talented if his live stuff sounds just like the recorded album...wow...true talent...I wish we'd see this more often; there's no more talent out there.

I saw the band this evening live in Amsterdam, Mick sounding exactly the same as I remember him some 20 odd years ago... that is STUNNING. The whole Westerpark crowd loved it!
It's amazing there's no difference between the live version and the studio version.. Very few artists posess that skill... However Mick's mastered it :) Great song.

Your right. Rare. I grew up with a band called Rush & considering how complex their music can be I didn't expect perfect. Saw them in concert 10 times. They know how to multi-task. Like them or not they accomplish the same thing. With 3 guys and no overdub. I know from that I also saw Queen & Pink Floyd. Lotsa canned stuff
