I put my GoPro 7 black on the Center of my HJC modular with everything right there in the front. It works very good. Funny, if you are familiar with Shawn Smoaks he commented the other day that the well made modern helmets don’t have to be broken in. 😎 I see why you go on the Front as it is pretty V shaped. Mine is more rounded and the curved mount works well.

I'd have to agree with everything you've said. My Ghost Bandit is my favorite helmet. I run the same visor setup as you but with the clear pinlock, which is pretty much perfect for UK riding 90% of the time. Even with no fairing my visor will stay where it's set, up to about 90mph, but i rarely run with the visor open at those speeds. Those air vents work much better without a fairing. With my Road Warrior fairing fitted it cuts down the airflow considerably, and also the noise. Try it with a naked bike. I'm really impressed that the noise from the helmet doesn't affect the sound quality through your mic.

just picked this one up a hour ago. Its lightyears ahead of the Lane Splitter. My Lane splitter was so damn loud, I couldn't have imagined putting a Sena on it. The Ghost Bandit is quiet! Im running a 14" Klockwerks on my RG as well. The detents are great. Shield stays open at 75-85 just fine. Best helmet I've ever owned!

Thinking about getting one of these as an upgrade to my bell qualifier (it was my entry into full face helmets coming from half lids) I spend a lot of time at around 70mph so I'll wait for your full review to pull the trigger on one

Out of curiousity. I have no way of trying one on without driving a couple hours. I wore a 2x in the Killian M05 Harley helmet. Size chart for Simpson with measuring tape says I’m a XL. Did you order the same size as other helmets?

I think it was my head shape that drew me away from the simpson line, unless the ghost bandit is a round shape. I'd like to see how it compares to the lanesplitter in the summer

I wore the same helmet for the last two years. Bought a Sena and had to get a new helmet for the speakers. Bought a Bell Qualifier for 110 and it is by far quieter and lighter then the Scorpion

I have this helmet. I’ve put over 10K miles on it, it’s very comfortable, it does a really good job and removing heat during the summer but goddamn the noise issue is no joke lol I have a 2019 Road glide special w/ stock exhaust and after a 500 mile ride my ears were done.

I don’t know about those adjustable bars. Don’t really understand the need. How often are you adjusting your bars on a pit stop during a ride? Seems like a pointless feature

Are you taking the piss? You're not constantly adjusting the bar position. You maybe adjust it a couple times to find the best position for you then that's it.

Like others have said, it's not for constant adjustability, but rather getting a damn near perfect fit the very first time. I know of too many riders who have bought bars, gone through the trouble of installing them, and ended up not liking them and having to go through the whole process all over again.

This helmet was such a disappointment. I got the most expensive carbon version and two months later I am getting something else. To anyone considering it, be aware that if you are used to other premium brands (agv, shoei, arai, etc) you will be extremely disappointed. The helmet looks cool, and is quite light, but that is about it. The noise is unbearable, as are the aerodynamics. It is literally only for low speed riding. The worst part is definitely the inferior quality compared to others in this price range. The visor does not seal properly, scratches extremely easily, the internals started to fall apart after a few uses, and what shocked me the most is when I realized that the EPS liner is made from segments which at some points were literally held together with tape. Finally, just so you know, even the most expensive carbon versions are made in China, which Simpson does not mention anywhere on their website. For the same price I am now looking at the Shoei X 14 (X spirit 3), which is on a completely different level in every single aspect.
