I've got probably about 20k miles on my Ghost Bandit and I have to say I agree with most everything you said, here's what I'll add/emphasize... 1) the Ghost Bandit is definitely the most badass helmets you can buy for the look. It just can't be beat for the aggressive styling. 2) The features of the helmet (drop down internal visor, pinlock, etc) are really nice, well thought out and function pretty well, not perfect but good enough. 3) The road noise is definitely an issue when riding more than an hour or two, but around town it's fine and I can hear my stereo (Road Glide) better so I do like that. For long road trips, I've decided I need a better, quieter helmet (Shoei) or maybe just install some ear plugs. So take that into account when you buy it, based on your riding style. 4) My biggest complaint is that the quality of the helmet just seems lacking for the price you pay... the trim gasket around the face opening and around the bottom opening that covers the edges of the shell just keep falling off and coming undone. It started coming off the face opening not long after I recieved that helmet and has always been an issue since I've owned it. I've had to epoxy that trim back onto the helmet on several occasions in different areas to the point where I've pretty much re-glued the entire trim of the helmet at this point. Also, the styrofoam under the cheek pads has easily been broken/damaged/cut from re-installing the cheek pads after removing for headset install, washing pads, etc. 5) Overall, the helmet is a solid 8/10 for me... Style -Looks BADASS! (10/10) Funtions - pretty well (8/10) Features (9/10) Fits - very good (9/10) Venting/Air flow (9/10) Noise muffling - pretty damn noisy (6/10) Quality control (6/10) Durability (7/10) *My recommendation: So overall I agree with this reveiwer and most reviews on it. I would say if you want a badass helmet that looks cool AF and has lots of good features AND you don't do lots of long distance riding, then you will be pretty happy with it. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable long-distance helmet that is well-made and will last for thousands of miles, then this is NOT the helmet for you; take a look at Shoei or similar.

Like the vertical view... Wish it could be filmed in both... The helmet is a sharp looking helmet...pin locks for the win 💪🏻

As well ghost bandit Aurora reference, but have to go 1 size down since I’m M and listen to lost of reviews, but the S start a little snug then got fit on the right spot when breaks up. Might go with other variant in the future.

Good review. I have the Mod Bandit, love it. The noise level is above average , 1=Loud and 10=Quiet, I give it a 6.5. The other issue which I don't think is a deal breaker, is the internal visor. It likes to creep down slightly, enough to see it.

HJC RPHA 11 Pro. Pros, lock in visor, not very loud, (but idk what loud is, due to my first full face helmet.) light weight, fits perfect. Cons, second click up on visor has a lot of play, EVO 20s sena cranked almost all the way up and can barely hear, but I can’t tell if it’s the pipes I have are loud or wind noise. Seems to be a mixture of both. Dark pinlock are rare and only come from 1 place in the world. Overall, I really do like the helmet, but I tried on an AGV K1 and it was extremely tight, but that’s about the only full faces I have tried on. But I was on an extreme budget at that time too. Only have had it for about a year and half.

Hey boss! can you possibly go over how you set up you’re go pro or give me tips. I have mine mounted in the same area with a j hook (dremeled it down for more tilt) and its still to low on my zx10r. i got the same mount made for the helmet as you.

I just wear ear plugs. Gets rid of the wind noise and I have a 10R, never had a problem with hearing my music or comms really. But I've been looking at the Bell Star Flex, I heard great things.

Do you ever get scratches on your mirrored visor? If so, do you know how to remove them? I have scratches on mine & it seems like they came out of nowhere.

Wind noise is less of an issue for me, mainly cause I can’t hear well (40 years of railroad noise), so I wear earbuds so I can hear my music and my passenger over the road noise. I just purchased some musicians in-ear monitors to go with the Sena 30K. Anxious to hear how they sound.

@@FullThrottleHOG I need to adjust the size of the ear insert (3 sizes included), but first ride, they worked well. I usually have to reinsert one of the standard ear buds because it came loose when I put my helmet on, or hooked the write while zipping up my coat (meaning taking the helmet off again. A frustrating, and often repeated event). These sat comfortably and securely in place (wire over the ear design) and sounded great! They are the DCMEKA brand, model A09 Black. They were inexpensive for my test ($19 on Amazon). So far so good.

@@FullThrottleHOG best investment in gear you can buy. Reduced wind noise and wind fatigue. Sena / Comms unit only has to be used at 20%.

Just ordered the Mod Bandit an can't wait to get it (Being delivered today) I'm getting away from my LS2 which is a lil loud to me but I've always loved the bandit style

Great video … wth helmet on .. is it like u hve blinders on your left /right view .. where u just see straight ahead . Or can u just move eyes side 2 side an get good view.. I hope u get what I’m saying .. been thinking about getting 1.. thnks 👍

I love my Mod Bandit. It looks so bad ass especially with my chrome visor too. Bought mine about a year ago. Going from 20 years of wearing a half helmet the wind noise isn't that bad for me. I do wear earplugs on longer trips. Just so my ears aren't buzzing after a day of riding. Heading to Apache Junction, AZ on Friday for 4 days of riding.
