I would actually be interested in seeing how hard it is to actually catch a roadrunner.

I would LOVE to see them do Roadrunner. Not only catching one, but just to see them recreate some of the traps, like the giant steel wall that shoots up. Or like, can you make a catapult that does even half the things it does when Wiley tries to make it work. Just, so many things I want to see.

Why did they not do the megaphone testing in season 8?

I would love to see some will-e coyote myths.

The fact that they could hardly get a cherrybomb really took me by surprise. They can get .50 cal sniper rifles with armor piercing incendiary rounds, tons of C4 and TNT, M60 machine guns, access to supersonic jets, heavy duty construction equipment, rockets, a permit to destill their own moonshine and even live grenades and so on, but a cherry bomb is difficult? Huh?!

i think you can make trying to catch a road runner on rocket skates plausable if possible just - record the running speed of a road runner, and the possible speed of our meep meep road runner -record the velocity of the coyote on rocket skates for every km at a distance of say 2-4km -make a makeshift metal coyote and a make shift road runner... -create a device that can match the speed of your data of the road runner.... build rocket skates ect ect.

That was a hell lot more than just Simpsons stuff lol

I'm kinda shocked no ones taken mythbusters weapons and used them in a real world setting. Like everything mythbusters does reminds me a lot of that dude who made an armored bulldozer and obliterated some small us town.

Is the revival, using the people from "The Search" going to happen, and be any good? (I've not seen any "The Search" episodes.) I think a new-cast Mythbusters might be possible, though it will take them a while to find their own personalities and chemistry. Whenever a show is revived with new hosts, I think it might be possible, so long as they allow them to be themselves rather than trying to pretend to be the beloved retired (or fired, Top Gear) hosts and be exactly what they had been. Or what about the "Build Team," Grant, Tory, and Kari, I didn't like them as much as Adam and Jamie, but they were still great and could keep going - they seem to be still happy to work together. Why did they get rid of them for the final season, and can they bring them back to host Mythbusters on their own? The best would be probably to bring back the "Build Team" as the primary hosts, but also bring in some new cast members, allow them to become established (we probably won't like them at first, but gradually they'll get better and we'll like them, as was the case for the Build Team themselves at first), and they'll be in a position to take over when Kari, Grant, and Tory want to retire. Keep a two-team format, and replace the teams at different times so that one established team can keep carrying the series, it could go forever that way.

It's really hard not to shout "D'OH!" when Homer hits the house.

I do not believe it for a second ,I think you respect and work together for a reason and well done for making so many great shows 200 and 3 million minutes together ,Can you bury the hatchet and get on with the mutual respect you have for each other,and what you have achieved for science and entertainment

It was disappointing the wrecking ball couldn't swing further/faster, 5.5mph is nothing, drive a 5,000lb pickup into a wood-frame house at 5.5mph and you'll be lucky to bulge a wall. 10mph would yield much more impressive results if possible. Their home models were quite lacking, this really had to be done on a complete housing, having all 4 outer walls, a roof, full stories of the building, and a few interior rooms within each floor would proof it VERY difficult to cause as much damage as they did with their control.

This was the prototype of what Adam does today on Tested.

Would it be less expensive to rent a wrecking ball than to make a ball and swing it from a crane?

well it is pretty simple actually the top speed of a roadrunner is 20 mph[or 32 kph] and the fastest human on record is 28 mph so Usain Bolt could probably catch one if it ran in a straight line though an average human probably couldn't, however in theory according to a new scientific study states that humans in theory could actually run up to 40 mph[again in theory, there is probably more to it than that] anyways the top speed of a Coyote is 43 mph[or 69 kph] so in real life a Coyote could and would caught a roadrunner quite easily. though with all of this and all said and done it is a cartoon lol soooooo it wouldn't be very long or very good if he caught the roadrunner quickly and easily and nobody would watch it thus we wouldn't be here discussing it :P

Simpsons was great through the first 10 seasons. Clever writers, historical references, funny banter. Then it started to decline. What we have now is a hallow shell of its former self. Shame.
