Simrit to me, this video is like your soul and your music, which translates to Pure Holy Art! Each person will view this art and respond in their own unique way to the meaning it emmanates. It's a treasure and it speaks to me personally of Divine Mother, always there, always loving, yet allowing us freedom to find our own unique soul, while always, close at hand. Kal Akaal is an ancient chant with many meanings, not the least of which means to become the face of death-less-ness. The circle of reincarnation and acceptance of our cosmic nature. Simrit has done a BEAUTIFUL rendition of this song/chant.

Watched it so many times, each and every time, that moment when she hesitates to let go, I feel it. The looks in her eyes throughout the entire video say everything, the video doesn't even need sound, just her emotions being expressed is enough to shine that light into our souls to see what we've been running from. I can't understand the lyrics but the melody and the video transmitted to me the kind of fear we, mothers, feel at the moment our children decide to live on their own... everything becomes a risk, danger... Mine are already flying, but from time to time I feel as if I must be on alert... Loved it !
