According to their own deeds, some draw closer, some are driven away. Jinee naam dhiaaiyaa Gey masakat ghaal Nanak tay mukh ujalay Kaytee chhootee naal Those who have meditated on the Name of the Lord, And departed after having worked by the sweat of their brow, O Nanak, their faces are radiant (when in God's court) And many others are saved along with them.

Divas raat du-ei daa-ee daa-ei-aa, khaylai sagal jugat: Day and Night are the two nurses in whose lap all the world is at play. Chungi-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa, vaachai dharam hadoor: Good and bad actions, the record is read out in the presence of the Cosmic One. Karmee aapo aapannee kay nayrrai kay door: According to their own actions, some are drawn closer and some are driven farther away. Jinee naam dhi-aa-ei-aa gaay musukut ghaal: Those who have meditated on the Naam(the Cosmic Sound), the Cosmic One and departed after having worked by the sweat of their brows Naanuk tay mukh ujalay kaytee chhuttee naal: O Nanak, their faces are radiant in the Court of the Supreme One.

I’m pretty new, as well, and from what I’ve read I think it’s Gurmukhi. From ancient Sanskrit.

This is the Salok, or last stanza of Guru Nanak's Japji Sahib, the morning prayer of Sikhs. pavan guroo paanee pitaa maataa Dharat mahat. divas raat du-ay daa-ee daa-i-aa khaylai sagal jagat. chang-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai Dharam hadoor. karmee aapo aapnee kay nayrhai kay door. jinee naam Dhi-aa-i-aa ga-ay maskat ghaal. naanak tay mukh ujlay kaytee chhutee naal. Air is the Guru, Water is the Father, and Earth is the Great Mother of all. Day and night are the two nurses, in whose lap the entire world is at play. Good deeds and bad are announced in the Presence of Lord Dharma. According to their own actions, some are drawn closer, and some are driven farther away. Those who have meditated on the Naam have departed after having worked by the sweat of their brows O Nanak, their faces are radiant in the Lord’s Court, and many are saved along with them!
