My two favorite authors and mentors on the same podcast, how can that be possible? So much information in a short time. My books are history based, and you two single handly introduced me to archeology fiction, though Ernest's ideas have long been my own
Reorganizing my bookcases while listening to this - three hours would be great! A couple things that stood out: - The Mayans also have a legend about the gods destroying humanity via a flood. They created beings three times. I forget the first destruction, the second was a flood. The third creation were declared good - aka humans. - Unsolved Mysteries did do aliens. I had nightmares as a child based on seeing an episode featuring blue glowing beings. I was convinced they were following me so throughout the day, I'd walk in circles because they had to follow each step and could only go so fast. I'd take steps in bed before falling asleep so they wouldn't be able to catch up at night. Needless to say, my parents were not impressed my nan let me watch it. 🤣
