It’s her “trademark” because her vocals are weak and she’s cheating out of her range. No matter, if you like it you like it and no one can take that from you.

@@heydonray Nah, that's intentional. What she's doing is basically a fry scream, she just mixes more chest voice in, to make it less distorted. That's definetely a stylistic choice here, and a good one aswell, in my opinion. Gives her a very unique sound, that makes her stand out from other vocalists. I usually don't even like female fronted Rock or Metal bands, but her style is just amazing!

At the first time I saw her I thought she's just another Avril wanna be. But then when I heard her voice for the first time I realized she's just special. Every time she sings I feel like she's confiding her heart at me. It's a rarity nowadays to find this kind of singer.
