Xiaxue videos are unique, seldom do I see entertaining yet provoking social commentaries like her. Other RU-vid videos are comedy and tutorials, Xiaxue is different. She has a wicked sense of humor and shameless sarcasm.

The funny thing is that the quality of acting and filming is better in the spoof than in the original. Might be the difference between the micro influencer and the Queen influencer.

I think it's particularly annoying that these influencers get attention because of their wealthy lifestyles to begin with, yet they're the ones that receive sponsorships here and there as if they can't afford it. And, most of the time you can't even trust their reviews cause they're all sponsored anyways.

This is sooo spot-on. I guess regardless of country where "micro-influencers" reside, majority of the younger generation IG users (I'm speaking tenure in the platform) tend to want quick fame thru easy sponsorship deals, than content creation. Companies like Faves Asia then take advantage of them. Sad. They should learn from people like you instead, who truly achieved success thru hard work. You've talked about a lot of topics in your blog, even politics. That didn't make me unfollow you. :) Your personality captures the audience. That's what'll keep the following in every platform, not just IG, where these "influencers" thrive. It can't be sustained if it's their only platform. If IG goes away or dies ... guess who they are? A nobody. :) *sigh* Sad fact. I guess the key is to really work hard and explore other options if they are really passionate about content creation, & listen to real people who've done it, like you; instead of rushing it & believing that their formula now is the only way to rise. Sure, they might have new & improved ways. But not the only high way than proven track record. That's why I admire you for being genuine. :)

The way you speak here cracked me up 🤣. I generally dislike influencers whose Instagram galleries are plastered with sponsored posts most of the time. I don't want to subscribe to 'TV commercials'. The impression I got from them are that they desperate for attention/followers/sponsorships, showing cleavages etc excessively really turn me off. There's a difference between working hard and trying too hard.
