I love this Ministers Sermons. I have only found him recently at the 2021 Ligonier Conference. I watched on the phone. Blessed to hear He blessed to be able to preach like this. ♥️🙏✝️

He was my pastor for almost 7 years. 3-4 sermons each week. What a blessing he was/is. He is everything that he seems to be, the most Godly man I have ever met. He walks what he talks and has a heart of a pastor while being one of the greatest Theologians of the last 50 years.

I haven't listened to this video, but based on the topic, wanted to make a statement. Because of what is preached in the majority of our churches, the congregation is placed under a heavy yoke that says if [they] fail to [do] certain things, they will not see the Kingdom of God. Friends, that is a heavy yoke as our Salvation is thus dependent on what [we] do, rather than what God has done. Because He is the one who has done it, His yoke is easy or light, so light in fact that we shouldn't even feel it.

Lots of interesting insights and soothing words But After all the talk, how is Jesus’ yoke easy? Certainly he speaks as one who is “ wise and learned” Could that be the reason why there’s no answer?

When we spend our lives striving to meet the expectations and approval of EVERYBODY ELSE, it is a “weary life”. The Fruit of the Spirit tells us that these qualities (and more) were exemplified in Christ, first. But as Christians, who have “received” these qualities through having His Spirit, living in His people. BUT, though He has given His Spirit to all who have trusted In Him, they REFUSE to allow this “River of Life” to “flow” through THEM. They “deny the power.” They do this because they are STILL AFRAID of death…yes, fear of death, which Jesus removed at His death. They think that they are “under the Social Laws” of having to “look Good” at all costs. It keeps them fearful of being “different from others”….never mind God’s commands that bring freedom. They are unwilling to give up their own ideas of WHAT IS SALVATION….or “what is RIGHT”, and bring peace to their “anxious” lives. His hands are held out, today, as always. He reaches out, and those who know they need Him, receive Him. Question: why do we, evangelists, need to feel that WE must untangle, and know every problem of those we offer the Gospel to? Jesus will guide them, too.

His yoke connects us to Him and to each other. Jesus is The Word, John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="61">1:1</a>-5 The Word God spoke: Exodus <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1201">20:1</a> The Word God wrote: Deuteronomy <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="253">4:13</a> and The Word God made flesh John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="74">1:14</a>. He is our example of The Trinity. He is The Law that hung on the cross and The Law that is written in the heart. Psalms <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="2407">40:7</a> Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me Hebrews <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="607">10:7</a> Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. With obedience to The Father in Deut.<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="368">6:8</a>-9, The Father anoints us with His Word, putting us in His Son, The Holy Spirit. Build up the body of Christ by 'putting on' The Lord. Cling to, dwell in the law (Ten Commandments) and testimony (Sermon on the Mount). We know His voice. His words are spirit and they are life. Hear Him. Prepare for your future and the life of your loved ones. As Paul tells us, "put on Jesus." His yoke is light.
