So if Nepal is not "Indian", then most of the NE is not for sure, as their cultures are not related to Indian.

@@alani3992 Most of northeast cultures are certainly related. Assam and Tripura are indo-aryan. The tibetans of arunachal and the Meiteis/Manipuris are heavily influenced by indian culture. @@sauravkumarchand9691 Nepali is also a recognised official language in West Bengal. Offcour se the Nepali speaking people are wanting to separate, i think they can consider having the West Bengal capital shifted to Darjeeling during summer in case that brings the two communities together and helps foster better understanding and if that does not work go for a separation. I like Nepali and all other Himalayan cultures, people and environment quite a bit and I would not like a separation unless that's absolutely necessary to the hill people. Also ,if they have reservations on the type of people going into hill places through west bengal i think thats a genuine concern and they should be allowed to regulate entry of people into the hills themselves. I have faith in their goodness and I think they will be fair in their judgements. Of course there are problematic elements in every community abd I had noticed that in them too but I.also believe every community must have control over their future unless they will misuse their liberty to.start harming others

To an Indian one can tell when a Bengali or Marathi or a Dravidian-speaker speaks English. To others, it may be like most can't tell the difference between an Aussie & Kiwi accent.
@chynB
@chynB Месяц назад
To indians the differences are easily discernible, because we vaguely know the intonations of respective languages. But as a whole the languages themselves are pretty similar, so to an outsider the English accent might sound the same. Australian and Kiwi accents are perfect examples, as @@alani3992 mentioned
