In this tutorial I show you how to find a length of one side of a non-right angled triangle by using the Sine Rule. You can do this if you are given the opposite angle and another side and the opposite angle.

Could you provide a video for a solution to questions involving circle theorems? I would really appreciate that, as I seem to be struggling with kite, bow tie and cyclic quadrilaterals... Please reply.

heyy great video Thankz (Y) , but in my book it says you have you invert the equation to give you Sine A divided by a and sine b Divided by B and sine c Divided by C?

for the question do it your self can't u find the angle by adding up the other angles and take them away form 180 because a triangle adds up to 180?
@ffcsince1879
@ffcsince1879 12 лет назад
i understand how to apply the sine rule etc but im doing c2 jan 2012 q7(c) and i dont understand how you are meant to use it if you are only given one angle and one side? its only two marks aswell.. would the fact that the triangle is isosceles have anything to do with it? the mark scheme has a second angle but it does not show how they got it

Hello! I have a question: I have a problem where I have to draw the triangle and then find the lengths of all unknown sides. It gives me ABC. angle A= 90 degrees, angle B=40 degrees and a= 15 cm. my question is how do I know which side of the triangle to put the small a, the given side? How do I draw this triangle?
@POTATOCHOCOLATE13
@POTATOCHOCOLATE13 10 лет назад
If you have an angle that is 90 degrees tha means you have a right angle triangle. You can not use this rule with a right angle triangle. You have to use basic trigonometry.I'm sure exams solutions guy has made a video about it.

What's this difference between SOHCAHTOA and this sine rule
@ExamSolutions_Maths
@ExamSolutions_Maths 5 лет назад
SOHCAHTOA is used when working with right angled triangles whereas the sine and for that matter the cosine rule are used for non-right angled triangles.
