What I predict Singapore in 2050. 1. Garden & linkway in the sky connecting most high rise buildings. This will allow a 2nd tier green space, alleviating the increased in people movement at the ground level. Most building will be pre-fab. 2. Farming & solar panels in the sky commercially. Selected buildings will have the roof top design specially for this to be self sustaining. 3. All Vehicles will runs 100% on electric. 4. Pulau Ubin will be link to the main land to form a huge reservoir also for self sustaining. 5. All places, works and transactions, etc will assisted by artificial intelligence. 6. Land reclamation will still continue, more aggressively. 7. HSR system between Singapore and KL will be in operation. 8. The ‘long island’ land reclamation along East Coast will have been completed and the necessary amenities build.

By 2050 S’pore will be full of investors and millionaires frm overseas. The locals will be full of singles living alone. Maybe we become the 2nd Japan

Then too bad. Without the rich, u wont even do any better. U dont even have oil or land. And u expect govt to do magic and give citizen all the money? U r in sg, if u wan lots of subsidies , go Brunei or malaysia

Not only is land limited also a highly stressful country!!!! Just like a mini car instead of having a caravan and you can only put a limited of gadgets inside already cramp space!!!!

Insane indeed. By 2050, Singapore may be too hot to be inhabitable. Daily temperatures will hover around 40c.

You can predict the temperature in future?? Man is adaptable just like those who live in extremely cold countries or extremely hot countries like deserts. Singapore is not the hottest country on earth where people live.

We already have a plan to add 1 million trees to our country. It’s estimated to shred 6 degree Celsius off the heat we’re currently facing. If you just spend some time to look at the temperature of Sg, KL and Jakarta, you can see we’re cooler than both Jakarta and KL even though we’re nearer to equator than the other 2 cities. It shows that greening our environment helps cool the place down.

Gasoline prices skyrocket has nothing to do with the Singapore government and this is a global crisis tied to the Ukraine war and actions/decisions of OPEC countries. Cost of living is not very high. It will be if those idiots pushing for minimum wage get their way!

Don't you on based on the International Trade Adminstration and other sources, Singapore has a world-class technology?
