These houses cost minimum SGD 3 million. It is landed housing area. The land outside does not belong to the house owners. They just make use of it. Singapore also grows some leafy vegetables. Only a very small amount. Indian shops dont sell vegetables grown in Singapore.

Just like how you see Indians in little india , this part of singapore which u are showing ,are mostly populated by malays. You should come during the Ramadan fasting . It is like a carnival. Though its malay dominated but many Chinese Indians reside here. I grew up just about 1 km away from onan Road. Memorable school days and interesting place to stay. In 1970s sholay ran for quite some time in a theatre about 200 meters away from where u were filming. I hope u tried the food here. There are varieties of malay food and is sumptuous. Chandru and menaka I m a great fan of you all. Vickneas from Singapore. The way you highlighted Singapore I could not believe I m staying here. Than k you very much.
