Need a break from the scorching Singapore sun? Head over to Sentosa Island! The Adventure Cove Water Park is a good-size water park for all ages! Upon entry, there are locker but head towards Bluwater Bay where there are lockers, beach chairs and even cabanas for rental! The ones by the wave pool are centrally located. Parents with small children can consider the cabanas at Seahorse Hideaway. There are several water slides that are quite thrilling. The Tidal Twister and Pipeline Plunge are tube sliders for one or two-seater floats. The Dual Racer is a straight drop on mats. You can race against a friend. Riptide Rocket is by far the fastest, as magnetized floats are pulled through the tubes at high speeds. The Spiral Washout and Whirlpool Washout are sinkhole type float slides. Young children can enjoy the Big Bucket Treehouse, which is like a water jungle gym. One unique attraction is the Rainbow Reef. You can snorkel with over 20,000 tropical fish. Snorkels, goggles and life jackets are provided. I enjoyed the lazy river (Adventure River) the most, as it is quite long and there are many things to see along the way. For munchies, The Bay Restaurant offers Sweet & Sour Chicken with Rice, Fish and Chips, Pasta, Salad, Chicken Burger, Drinks, Desserts and Snacks. There are also ice cream and snack vendors at different locations around the water park. The park is open from 10am to 5pm. Get there early. It gets crowded from noon until closing time.
