Every time we walk past a parade of shops in Singapore, we are stunned by the amount of deliciousness that appears to be in our neighbourhoods, yet, for some reason we rarely pop in to find out what is tasty! So we finally decided to do it, and have chosen to start in MacPherson!

MacPherson has some of the best prawn noodles in Singapore. You went to the right area! One Prawn & Co is excellent (though a bit pricey), but there is also the very good River South (at the far end of MacPherson Road, in Tai Thong Crescent) and Siong Heng too.

Great video! That place looks very much like the East Coast & Joo Chiat area. Perhaps you guys may also want to check out Sunset Way, off Clementi Road. You can find about 8 to 10 Cafes & restaurants over there.😊

Happy New Year to you! So good to see your videos again. I still remember your very first vlog when you left England and taking your first tentative steps in Singa right in the middle of the pandemic! Your kids have really grown since and the two of you look so fit and slim...Despite all the good food! 🤭🤭 You have definitely seen more of Singapore than I have in my 20+ years there before I left for NZ. I really miss the cheap and really tasty food of S-pore and SE-asia. You couldn`t find that in Scandinavia. Great video as always 👍

I think the various samosas. We only have just ‘meat’ or vegetables’ so to have a selection such as cheese or even chocolate and more is incredible. I would also like to try the bakery too. The little sweet and savoury buns sound amazing xx

My family lived for a year in 1982 in MacPherson Road when the children were little. It's so different now and the parade of shops selling food is certainly worth a visit ! I like Milo's new hairstyle and the way you all enjoy your food. By the way, some of the captions are really weird 😱 ! Have you seen them ?

Have u tried loong fatt tau sar piah in balestier? For me its the best, there's quite a few shops of tau sar piah along the road perhaps u can try and compare but for me nothing beats loong fatt 😂

There are always things to complain about but we choose not to. The whole world is still recovering from COVID, and it is so easy to forget the way governments navigated us through the complete unknown, through fear, bringing us out the other end. The financial prices we are all paying is down to the season we weathered together, not out of a government’s greed.
