both newer generations of Singapore's Hunter AFV and Terrex IFV (same as Taiwan's 雲豹裝甲車) are hybrid powered (doubled its range from 550km to 1000km), in-vehicle drones (无人机) capsule, adopts the same AMAP-ADS active protection as its leopard tanks. I think the roadmap includes provision for laser weapons against enemy's drones (激光武器)
a turretless variant of Hunter IFV could be beneficial in a omni-role configuration . . . featuring a raised (heightened) hull that'll liberate some much needed space inside the otherwise tight fit crew & troop compartment . . . lack of interior cabin space is a common phenomena among IFVs & APCs . . . the raised hull will incorporate two standard size roof hatches for observation & gunner . . . as for mobility the Hunter IFV could do with a heavy duty coil spring based 6.3 in. suspension lift that'll complement the torsion bar setup . . . resulting in better off roadability & higher break over angle . . . either of the roof hatches can be armed with a plethora of cannon/gun systems . . . from 30 MM XM914 six-barrel rotary cannon to the proven 20 MM chain gun and not to mention anti-tank incendiaries . . . BMP-2 & BMP-3 are unreliable & useless . . .
