In this episode of The Collector's Perspective, Constant sits down with Benjamin Chee, the founder of Benjamin Chee Haute Horlogerie (@bc.hautehorlogerie), Singapore's first-ever haute horlogerie brand.
The conversation begins with Benjamin sharing some intriguing personal stories and then transitions to his passion for the brand and his unique design ideology, heavily influenced by Chinese art and tradition.

Amazing interview. Benjamin’s passion for watches was fun to watch/listen. The pieces were beautiful and I enjoyed seeing the intricate movements. Please…more serious collector conversations like this one! 🥂

Please do a Part 2 with this gentleman. Benjamin was insightful and an interesting collector. Lot to,learn from him. Love his 1931 Reverso Tribute. I passed up on one and regret it to this day. Cheers

5:24 $800 in 1962 is equivalent to around $8,000 in 2023.

Hmm. That Beijing watch. The back case doesn’t look like it’s made in the 1960s. Looks like CNC machined.

Doesn't have to be CNC, all they need in the 60s to do that was probably a big industrial hammer ,like the machine used to stamp coins
