Singapore Flyer opened in 2008 as the tallest ferris wheel in the world. It retained its status until 2014, when it became the second tallest ferris wheel in the world. The High Roller in Las Vegas was 2.6 meters taller. Still, the Singapore Flyer is Asia's tallest ferris wheel. One capsule can house up to 28 passengers, though it isn't busy enough to pack so many people in, so you can surely get your own capsule most times. The capsules are air-conditioned, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. For a bit extra, you can get champagne, a Singapore Sling cocktail, or a 1-hour workshop on juicing inside the capsule. For a lot more, you can dine inside the capsule for dinner. There are restaurants around the first floor should you want to get a meal there. If this is your first time in Singapore, I highly recommend the Singapore Flyer to get a Birds Eye view of the island country!
