In HongKong, racing culture is so strong that young and old people flock to the race track every race season to join in the fun yet in Singapore, it becomes a dying breed of revenue. What's gone wrong ??? Hong kong jockey club faith in hiring the best in professional field in horse racing and strong marketing wooing good jockeys and trainers in their rank did many wonder for the turnovers. Yet, what has STC done ?
Most of the old uncles queued up were no more. After all horse racing was never part of our culture. It was one of the remnants form the passed colonial period. It’s time to bury their past. Something not worth remembering, if one to think how many families fell apart throughout those 180 years, since it’s existence.
