To all-The Bible teaches that God is holy, just, merciful, gracious, loving, and sole creator(Genesis 1:1, Psalm 24:1). The Bible also teaches that man is born with a dreadful sin nature(Psalm 51:5, Ephesians 2:3) and transgressed God's law(Romans 3:23). Since God is the righteous judge, He will punish sinners according to His eternal standard. According to God's word, that punishment is an eternal,physical, and conscious torment(Daniel 12:2,Matthew 25:41, Matthew 3:12, Revelations 14:10-11, Revelations 20:10) in Hell-separated forever from the goodness of God. The good news is that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ who is equally eternal(John 1:1) and equal in rank and importance(John 5:18, John 10:30) to the Father and the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin to be the means for escape from the domain of darkness and wrath of God for those who repent and believe the gospel. Jesus lived a sinless life and voluntarily and lovingly died on the cross by taking upon Himself our sin and the wrath of God that His elect deserve. Jesus was buried and resurrected(1 Corinthians 15:1-5) on the third day from the grave- demonstrating His power over sin and death and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20-23). Your good works or deeds of the Law are not sufficient. Jesus who is fully God and fully man is the complete and perfect sacrifice. It is not grace plus merit, faith plus works, or even Christ plus unrighteous man that will justify the sinner. As a vile wretch, you can be be justified(declared right before God) by only free grace alone, through faith alone and in Christ alone(Romans 3:28, Ephesians 2:8-9). Will you repent(a change of mind that results in the abandonment of sin and turning to the Lord Jesus Christ) and trust in this unchanging Gospel(Mark 1:15) or will you remain an enemy of God?
