I've been sewing (masks) daily on my singer M 2100 for several months. Haven't had the first problem. Because everyone started making masks it was hard to find a sewing machine in stores. Luckily a store near me had one left. I'm glad I bought it. I am here because I am a beginner sewer and didn't know what the different stitches are for. Thanks for explaining although it would have been better if you had explained in more detail what all of them do. But, thank you still.
my machine refuses to run a straight stitch. I’ve cycled through every option on the dial and none of them make a straight stitch, including the three that are supposed to be straight stitches. the knob also sticks as though something in the gears is grinding when I try to turn it. any idea what’s wrong?
Hello! Yes, the M2100 can sew through denim. We would like to also suggest one of our Heavy Duty machine if the majority of your sewing will be with denim fabric: www.singer.com/machines/heavy-duty. Thank you! -MM
