There is a worldwide effort to introduce Dimash to American audiences starting with MTV youtube channel's livestream on Fridays from 5=8 pm New York time. We can all help by figuring out when that livestream appears in our time zone and then tune in DURING THE SHOW and write REQUEST DIMASH in the chat to the right of the video. Do it as many times as you can but use caps and do NOT add song titles or emojis because those will invalidate your vote. His song has finished as high as #3, we can get it to #1 if we all pitch in. If you have a Twitter account you can vote that way from Monday thru Friday but you must use the correct format. A short youtube video called "Wanna See Dimash on MTV Livestream?" tells you how to do that.

Thanx so much for doing this song and your reaction. I dint know about the other professional singers on this show and how much of what they input they do in their own songs. But, by the adlibbing that dimash does shows his ear for music and that he doesn’t use auto tune. Also, with two master degrees in classical and contemporary music and playing seven instruments himself he can write the music for the orchestral parts or tell them by ear including the vocals of the choir. Even if dimash didn’t do all of it he collars with producers. And compared to American musicians on shows in the the states, China musicians here out shine American counterparts. At the beginning those harps were so subtle and dramatic...understated beauty. And that’s dimash dramatic but still understated. Never too much...always just the professional. He directed his own music documentary Qairin Elim. This shows his artistic side into the production of a number. He’s 26 yrs old with over 20 years experience in the music industry. His voice has that much experience. What path will another 20 years lead him on. Will he start a music university? Go to Harvard for his doctorate. Supposedly he’s doing that right now. The doctorate in most fields is a two year program where the student writes a book about a theory then proves it. He’s such a prodigy on so many levels. The last person that was this good was Michael Jackson who he loves. All we can do is wait and see and wait with baited breath for the morsels he drops our way.

Sandy Lam was the winner of the Singer 2017. The audience vote was the determining factor and she was a well-known Hong Kong singer (better known than Dimash)! Given the nationalistic nature of the Chinese, it was inevitable that Lam was going to win. Politics played a role here!
No, politics did NOT play a role here! The winner HAD to be Chinese according to the rules of the show. Dimash was invited as a guest singer, and though he blew everyone away, the title would never have gone to him. However, this was probably the first time that large TV audiences were truly aware of him; it was a brilliant move on his part. The rest is history.

I love Dimash's rendition and especially this performance of All By Myself. Shawn, I know for now this is your favorite, but like many reactors, the favorites tend to change as you listen to other Dimash songs and performances.
Dimash became and remains good friends with many of the other competitors...he has performed with several in different venues...Just goes to show how lovable Dimash is off stage...If you would like to know more about Dimash I recommend (not for review, but just for you) YT...Anna D. "Born to sing" and "Why Dears Love Dimash"......both are very good...and you will get a glimpse of who Dimash is off stage, and why he has such a huge following, over and above his wonderful voice....

nope you still have more to see. They are all professional singers. You've got to see, Helloby Lionel Ritchie. The girl from that clapped & said oh-who when he sang SOS I believe her name was Sandy Lam. This was an all Chinese show, Dimash was a guest. They could not let him win.
He came second because it is a state run competition and only a Chinese person was allowed to win in 2017, the lady who won said Dimash should have won. The competition did catapult Dimash to worldwide fame though, so all worked out well in the end! They changed the rules in 2018 and Jessie J (from England) won.
Adaigo is much better and he sings in English. He is the WORLD'S GREATEST and he gets into you soul/heart. I am a Mississippi USA, DEAR. The 1st place winner is from CHINA and he was an imported Brother. He won but they not giving to anyone but Chinese but invited back as guest singer then pandemic hit so he did not go the next year. Listen to some of his concerts. He has several sites and Gloria WU translated so many of his songs and the true story behind the songs he sings. RESEARCH HER CHANNEL FOR STORIES AND DIMASH SINGING THOSE STORES. Daybreak is one of those TRUE ones as is Autumn Song. ENJOY!
Dimash is an amateur. Why? Dimash's voice is low, not high (steel heart vocal has a high voice) But that song starts with high. Then the high note A female scream comes out. He actually did. -> Amateur. At 4:53 the bass is not the bass at the start (at the start Low bass is correct.) Low bass is a bass thrown for high notes. -> Means that the sound cannot be controlled. That's an amateur. ★The singer must stably express the chest voice in a continuous sound from low to high.★ Dimash is divided into bass and treble (chest, head). Why? Each sound is powerful and hard. so There is no sound continuity -> amateur.
