I guess I'm in the minority here, but this was absolutely heart breaking for me. Such a lovely and useful antique ruined 😢. There are still lots of people out here that still use and treasure these wonderful machines.

This is the only video of yours that I don’t like. Sorry-that old sewing machine was so beautiful. If it was in rough shape I would feel differently about ur make over. I love to sew and love antiques. I hope this doesn’t offend u because I love all your projects. ☃️

So sad to see three beautifully crafted items that were useful and useable in there present state, destroyed to create items with no real longevity as the first became disproportionate, the second totally ruined, the third white draws may make it but as I say they were more useful left alone. I'm all for upcycling but some things are fine just as they are. The other most disappointing thing about it is that you have "no patience" (your own words) and tamper with things that were crafted with plenty of patience and care. Very sad indeed

I can appreciate revamping the Singer machines for a purposeful use, but I would not cut down the original design so drastically. Rather, convert them into a side work table or island with a butcher block top. I really did not like the use of paint that altered the originality of the wood. I appreciate the originality of this particular antique. Singer peddle machines are treasures that have never been duplicated. Sorry, for my opposite opinion on this video.

These turned out adorable but it just killed me to see these beautiful tables and sewing machines being disassembled, especially that first one as it was gorgeous just as it was. It's not easy finding these with everything intact and still usable. I would have LOVED to have had that first one!! My grandmother had one but I don't know what happened to it since one of my uncles took control of everything and us few girls didn't get to have anything of hers. My husband bought me an antique Singer table though and I just need to get a replacement belt for it, hoping I can get it working again. I think I'm probably just too sentimental and born in the wrong century, LOL!! ❤

Dear Mary , I am sorry I was so heart broken to see this beautiful cabinet and Machine taken apart! This one was so Beautiful and had so many Wonderful Details! I wish you could of used one that was already to far gone, or pieces you find at thrift stores or garage sales.

As lovely as yours are, I could never be able to do anything with my grandmother's treadle machine. Hers is a FREE brand and she actually willed it to me when she passed away at 104 years old. She actually used it until she was 100. I use mine as a sideboard but with the machine still inside.
