You should get some epoxy sculpt clay to fix the broken drawer edge. it's easy to sculpt and sand. It's really strong and takes paint well. Easy to buy online too. It adheres real well to things.

Mary: Since you enjoy spray painting so much, I suggest you create a paint booth inside your shop so you can paint all winter. All you really need are some shower curtains in a circle.

I’m always amazed that one coat of paint with the sprayer gives such good coverage! All the pieces have a new life!

You did a beautiful job on everything. Instead of the newsprint wallpaper on top of the tables I thought it would look good with 2 stripes in one width and a 3rd stripe wider to replicate a grain sack, done in a light gray. Love white, but like it when you use other colors like the green too. Look forward to your update on these! Have you ever used Watco Danish Oil? The dresser that you left the drawers unpainted looks dry. The Danish Oil really helps. Everything is beautiful!

The paint sprayer is such a wonderful tool, it should by mandatory in every toolbox or shed. 😊 You are so skilled with it and make it look so easy, but how you manage to come through unscathed still amazes me. I always need the turpentine or a scrub brush after painting anything at all. I love the pale green colour you used, so delicate and pretty. 👍

Mary, you are an inspiration to me. When you get out your furniture finds and your paint sprayer out I’m encouraged to work on my many projects around here. The things you refinish turn out so nicely. I love your style. Seeing the items in your little shop also inspire me to do more.

Regarding the dark circle areas on a shelf in your repaint project--you were concerned about a bleed-through if you painted over them. You might try sealing spots of this nature with a good coat of shellac, let it dry thoroughly, then apply the color of your choice. That is the treatment for knots in wood that tend to bleed through after a brief period when you paint over them. The shellac is a quick treatment and works great........I love your program and the way you represent your way of life. Best wishes, Barbara Whitman-Welborn, Athens, Alabama.
