Lauren Daigle made her The Ellen Show debut and took the stage with her song, "Still Rolling Stones" from her album, "Look Up Child". #LaurenDaigle #TheEllenShow #LookUpChild
I agree , but as a christian woman she needs to cover her head , that's to say her beautiful long hair ; because worshipping God is speaking to God or praying God . According to Apostle Paul 's teaching of 1st Corinthians 11verses 1 to 16 , when a Christian woman prays God or prophesies she must cover with a veil her head BECAUSE OF ANGELS ( verse 10 ) and in order to show respect to the Divine Order of Authority, that's to say : God , then Jesus Christ , then man , then woman ( verse 3 ). Woman's long hair is not a covering or veil , woman's long hair is an ADORNMENT according to the correct translation by André Chouraqui of the greek text of the verse 15 in which Apostle Paul has used the greek verb "periboliaon" that has the meaning of covering in order to adorn. Blessings !
Christian Romans 6 : 23. I agree with the head covering as I also follow it and yes it is sad that not everyone follows it BUT we have to remember there are many denominations and in hers they may not acknowledge it. The important thing is that she is spreading Gods love to a world that needs it! And also remember that a head covering is not a requirement for salvation. God bless you!
Matt Freeman yes lets praise God for each and every one of the talented people that are either singing or playing instruments for the glory and praise of God. All glory to Christ Jesus.
You don’t have to be a Christian or anything, just Believe! I saw her in concert at the Orpheum and got to ask her couple questions. Amazing singer and person

Everyone in the Audience went home with a copy of the cd?! Thank you, Jesus! What a blessing to have Lauren on the show and her music for the Lord in the hands of the audience that may have never heard it otherwise!!! Praise God!! Harmony (not Kyle)
Yes we should pray that God will guard her. She's doing great things for Him and when one takes a step for God, Satan tries to attack them. So we should pray for her safety in Christ.
I strongly believe that everyone who is gifted with a singing voice is meant to use their voice to praise God. Every good gift comes from above and a beautiful voice is a gift from God above. That gift is meant to lift Him up and praise Him. Wish I had a voice like that!
I’m so so proud of Lauren right now!! Not a lot of Christian artists are able to make it mainstream, but she’s done it in such a flawless way, and has still kept her roots. There’s so much more that will come for her, and I’m so excited to see her grow.♥️
Sarah Rae. I was in my moms car and I was looking for I heart radio and I found it and Lauren’s song “You Say”was playing and that radio station is not a Christian station. Because her song is #1 from any other artists from Christian to Pop .
@Titus Robertson so going on television and professing Jesus through music makes her not a Christian??? Music many people watching Ellen may never hear. Litte bit judgey there bro. Guess it depends on point of view, to me she's spreading the Gospel in a way people today listen to music to today...
You are RIGHT Titus.... she is NOT.... i sensed this too... and now it is CONFIRMED....she is one of them... a sell out... heck possibly a trans... like Ellen Degenerate!!!

If she handed out bible's then yeah that would be spreading the gospel, but a cd of a fake Christian who doesn't even mention the name Jesus in her music...nope.
So amazing. Christians bashed Lauren for going on a secular show with a lesbian. They don't realize that this was such an amazing way for her to witness to Ellen and everyone in the audience. These people will go home with the album and might be changed by the power of the Gospel! What a great way to witness!!!
I agree. Jesus had dinner with the sinners. How can you win souls if you're sitting with other Christians and ignoring the non Christian sitting by themselves?
Chad Lawhorn dude it does matter that she's lesbian. Ellen is an amazing caring person. (not talking to you, just talking to ppl bashing Lauren ). and as Christians we are called not to judge.
Seeing Christian artists making it into the mainstream is exactly what the world needs right now. We need to see godly people in a position to have an impact on this world.
AHHH I LOVE LAUREN!! I'm so happy for her, she totally deserves this. Ellen is brave as well in letting Lauren on her show knowing full well that she'll receive criticism. Ah both of these ladies are amazing!
Unless there is a genuine repentance and a turning away, the "acceptance" of the word- or belief- does not produce regeneration. The Bible says that even the demons and Satan believe.
Just discovered this young lady's voice from a fb video and my daughter told me about the Ellen visit. She is amazing! What an awesome voice and great messages in her songs! Keep up the great music Lauren! Love from Canada!!
So many people commenting on Lauren's Ellen appearance...few comments about the audience members walking away with the message of salvation and deliverance in hand. What a great witness Lauren Daigle.
She didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in that song. A savior can be a fireman or a life guard. A lost person will NOT think "Jesus Christ" when they hear this song. Scripture tells us that in order for a man to be saved he must HEAR the GOSPEL first.
JubeeBijou God uses anything to show himself. the smallest message of Gods love is enough to save, if he ordained it. there's nothing stopping God to save.. They'll also be getting her cd and I think at least one of her songs say Jesus or God, or if u just look up her name you'll see her worship music. If someone was curious enough they can come to know Him.
The spiritual revelation in this song is so profound.Lauren has managed to tell them about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and they don’t even realize it,but the power of God will still do it’s work as they listen to it.Amazing, with God all things are truly possible
Tatenda mucheche I know, this song is soooo profound. And that is mu prayer they may Know that Christ, through the resurrectikn power is still in the business of rolling stones from tombs. Ameen
“The second we start drawing lines around which people are able to approached and which aren’t we’ve totally missed the heart of God.” - Lauren Daigle ... Completely agree! You go girl!
The second we start drawing lines around what Gps is and isn't about then we’ve totally missed the heart of God. So Lauren, one day you will be judged for what you did on this earth.
For anyone who judges Lauren for going on a secular show to proclaim the truth of God's goodness and salvation I suggest reading the words of Jesus. Go ye therefore, (Where into the world) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Not sit in the church and preach to those who already have recieved the Word and know Jesus Christ. Praise God for a wondeful oppurtunity to glorify Jesus Christ and to preach the gospel to many unbelievers would may have never heard it otherwise. She isn't acting like the world she is going out into the world like Jesus said.
You are dead on. She will excite more people to maybe search for God. A lot of people call themselves Christians, but the real question is: "What will Christ call them?" So many of us have such a narrow view of Christianity and spreading the Word. It is TV not a brothel!
I Love her music!!! Morning comes I'm turning her music on! Praise God, continue too be a blessing too the world! American Idol... I watched that and all I can say now is WOW SING Lauren sing!!!
Princessxleia...you are very wise to be open to God's voice in whatever form it takes. You will hear it often during your life and I encourage you not to reject Him. As long as you are alive, it is never too late to put your trust in Him, but sooner is better than later. Eternal life in heaven is an awesome reward.
Yes Lauren you bring the message to the front line Imagine a day when worship becomes mainstream and its topping the charts reaching the furthest people Everyone got a CD thats a lot of people reached right Praise Jesus
Lauren Daigle I'm just meditatively going through the lyrics of your songs. They're so striking. Please answer this question. How do you do it? How do you get such powerful words and somehow put them together? I am so broken, listening to how you talk about the Love of God. I Love you, Please don't let anything get you disconnected from God. Continue until the end.✨
Lauren, you are breaking ground where few can go! May God be with you as you shine your light! Ellen!!! Wowzers woman! You invited an absolute gem to your show!! How exciting to see this!!
@@drun1856 right, and no christian woman will sing on a lesbian womans show. You know she is a fraud because Ellen invited her in the first place. Ellen is an open God hater behind oprah.
She's a Christian and what better way to spread the word basically in front of a larger audience who may have never heard of her,use some common sense plus everyone went home with a cd,that's how it starts.
@@yodawg3469 what fellowship hath light with darkness? That is biblical my friend. No legitimate God fearing woman would show he face on a show entertaining an openly God hating woman. Be not equally yoked with unbelievers is something we are commanded for our spiritual lifes sake. Any girl who claims the Christ of the bible would not even respond to this, the demons behind Ellen are after her soul and they will have her right where they want her.but there is a false christ that is preached in many churches today and judging by this she is in with them. She worships the Christ of this world. The antichrist
If other Christian performers have been on her show then that's a start to spreading the word,it's called common sense and maybe you outta start using it.
Lauren Daigle has an unique style, she sings like Adele, Sarah Bareiles and Carly Simón mixed into the best cocktail to enjoy and gives us peace, joy and happiness!!!
This was such a bold and brave step for Ellen and Lauren. I think Lauren is breaking down the barriers and walls christians have put up. She stayed true to her elf and beliefs but showed respect and love by the song she chose. How do we show love if we are not available or in our own corner cowering ? Ellen is bold too. She invited her on the show knowing Lauren's world view was a bit different. It shows we can have different worldviews and still love and respect each other.
@@Julie86Mac and you know that is a really good song choice for her to sing because that song speaks volumes and if Ellen chose that song then that also speaks volumes.
Don’t hate the people who disliked the song. Instead pray that they may one day come to understand the meaning of the lyrics and the weight of this moment; a Christian singer, singing the gospel to a public audience, not just the sit-in audience but all the people watching the Ellen show that day.
YES!!! Lauren is my favorite singer (not just Christian, my FAVORITE singer, and Ellen is my FAVORITE talkshow host. It only makes sense they got together for an amazing show. I'd love to see Lauren perform You Say on Ellen's show...or Rescue...or Tremble. Those are my 3 favorite praise songs, although I listen to full concerts or albums for my praise times (3x a day usually...it gets me into a good space in my head and music beats taking a pill for me.anyday. I can't help myself, I just love Jesus and everything that He's about. He rocks and He's blessed my life beyond belief.
I love all Lauren Daigel songs, she’s one of my favorite female Christian artist along with Francesca Battistelli. Lauren did such a amazing job singing this song on TV. Thank you Ellen for inviting her on your show.
@@alexanderbalingit6537 Did you hear the lyrics? i would call that truth! Not only that, but they are getting her album and the last song is titled "turn your eyes upon Jesus". that it is bringing glory to God
*Now they can't say they never heard* (Mark 4:18 "And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word,). *The Gospel is spreading by all means necessary. God is great* (Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”)
IMarkovic1995 Good try. Every single person in that audience knows what Lauren stands for. And the lyrics of that song she performed are blatantly, obviously about Jesus. She mentions specifically “An answer to prayer / The voice of a Savior” If you’re too dumb to interpret those lyrics for what they *obviously* mean, then that’s your fault.
But Lauren did not Give any message, she just sang a song with no mentions of Jesus or to repent for your sins, luke 13 : 3 and Luke 13 : 5 Jesus says repent or you will all likewise perish, straight to the point, but she looks like she is ashamed to mention Christ and so will Christ be ashamed to mention her to God. Amen
@@Patrick_Kozma The Bible also says to give off the "Fragrance of Christ" and be a "light" in the World... Did she not sing about her "eyes being opened" and being more "alive" because someone came into her life like a "savior" who is "still rolling stones from the grave?" Did Jesus not speak to the crowds in parables sometimes... so then, before you condemn or shake your head at your sister in Christ, ask yourself, can't this woman sing for crowds in parables and melodies? And if they want to know more than its obvious when you research her and probably if they sincerely ask her where her motivation and good attitude and gratitude comes from. Sometimes Fishing for souls comes with, as you said, a direct call to repentance, and sometimes it's a slow process of living an example.
So I met her in my hometown in Ga, she performed at our local college, our town is one of the tiniest towns you've ever seen. That was four years ago, I've met her once more since then. When I met her my mom said "one day you'll get to say that you knew her way back when, even before hardly anyone else knew about her." Y'all, chase your dreams cause Lauren Daigle is proof that they do come true. I love this girl so much, I'm so proud of her.
Christian faith is based on kindness & empathy. For those that have been accusing Lauren of stirring up controversy - this is a bigger step towards loving non-believers than mega churches have been doing for years.
destiny coach Or even moreso... ‘living’ the gospel. And part of living the gospel is sharing it with those who haven’t heard or wouldn’t otherwise hear it.
Amazing voice that God gave you Lauren! You are one of the famous christian artist in the world today! Keep up the good work and hope to be like you soon. And to Ellen thank you also for choosing Lauren. This is her first stepping stone to be one of the top Christian artist singing and inspiring millions of souls and letting them know that they are loved by God through songs. God bless to both of you. Love ya❤️
Just a small correction, Lauren isn't where she is because of Ellen 😂 (I know she was being sarcastic, but really?) Her faithfulness, her God-given gift and the praises she sings to our Father and Saviour have gotten her where she is today!
She didn't need to go on Ellen to promote herself... I'm sad she has sold out for MONEY to be a part of that... A friend of the world is the enemy of God... will not listen to her music anymore
@@susanramos6473 Jesus is called "friend of sinners". Are we better than Jesus that we can't be? Everyone in the audience went home with a Christian album. Whether they believe in God or not, when they listen to that album seeds about God and His love for them are being planted in their hearts. And while we shouldn't conform to the world, in order for us to share God's love we cannot have an "us VS. them" mentality.
Susan Ramos, gently asking, how do you know she’s sold out? Do you know Lauren’s heart? Didn’t Jesus associate with prostitutes, tax collectors, etc... sinners like us? Are we His lights in a dark world if we only hang out with Christians and sing “Christian” music. Did you know all major “Christian” companies are owned by secular businesses? We can only be lights in the darkness and that’s what she’s doing. Yes, pray she stays faithful and being in the world but not of it; but let’s not embrace a judgmental attitude and maybe a religious spirit. Let’s pray that Ellen will be drawn to Christ through this music. Let’s pray that the entire audience will, too! Let’s love these people. I am really working on this too. No one is better than anyone else! I do community theater and could embrace judgement but I love instead no matter who I am in shows with and no matter what they are doing or are into and in the love, I see Jesus working, someone asking questions about faith; seeds planted. If we have not love, we’re just a bunch of religious noise and no one is drawn to that! Not judging you either, but I hope you give this some thought!
