@@sabina1118 Could not agree more. We've seen this many times before, but your smile and obvious pleasure in you face was contagious. Great reaction. How would you like to see a different side to these two extremely talented young men, live in concert? We can't think of a more perfect performance for sheer beauty and emotion. Almost 24m views! Give this link a try and we think you will enjoy it. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f_RjlIPuqyc.html
They are amazing pair of guys. Was at their concert in Auckland (New Zealand) several years ago. INCREDIBLE. They do straight classical as well as covers. All of their video clips are amazing.
I think this is kind of 'Lightning in a bottle" where an idea comes together, not to be repeated anytime soon....we are just grateful they did it at all!
the thing that makes me laugh the most out of their video is when the parents start getting mad at the kids dancing to the music lmao also amazing reaction i just subbed
That was absolutely amazing and your reaction was perfect!!! Your smile and recognition was awesome 🤩 these guys are absolutely amazing 🤩 thank you!!!! Much love and support!!
Yeah...a Metal anthem amazingly done with Classical instruments. So, so talented. They blew my mind too. Who KNEW a cello could sound like that? Great reaction!
*Brilliant performance* *Performer looks out into the baffled crowd* I... I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet... But your great-great-grandchildren are going to love it!
Your reaction to this amazing concept …and brilliant brilliant musicians is fabulous A+. Ahh, and respect for not interrupting…for all that you have a subscriber on my first visit to you…..
Oh yesss! Those two guys are fire 🔥🔥. I have seen this a couple of years ago. They have some other grat stuff too. A Pirates of the Caribbean cover for example. Lots of Love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭
I was introduced to these guys when I saw their video of Star Wars music. If you look it up, there are two versions, one with children and one with the grown ups. You want to watch the one with the grown ups.
Hahaaaa I think you enjoyed this as much as I did 😁…what better way to introduce Kids to how much fun playing an instrument can be, IF you do the work and Practise AND “do your own thing”sometimes) 🤗 hahaa. Glad you enjoyed it too 🤗 Thanks for sharing 🥰
Kevin, the beat boxer from Pentatonix plays the cello and does some amazing things with that instrument, making it sound more like an electrical guitar. Very much worth listening to.
The live version they do (from 2016) is even better, just as intense! 🤩 This hearkens to the first "Back To The Future" movie ... "Might be too much for you, but your kids are gonna love it." 🤣🤣
A similar band from Finland is Apocalyptica, they started out playing together at the Sibelius academy in Helsinki and put out a cd covering Metallica, then started writing their own stuff - I’d recommend “Ashes of the modern world” from the original stuff and literally any Metallica cover they did (master of puppets, Fight fire with fire, Unforgiven , until it sleeps etc)
Steve'n'Seagulls "Thundestruck" version isa must see. It has 127M views, tens of thousands of comments I believe, 99% positive. Totally different from the original, but respectfully. Great musicianship with a touch of humor. They use an instrument that I have never before seen used as a musical instrument. If you want to hear more cellos try Apocalyptica. A band with 4 cellos. Apocalyptica ft. Corey Taylor "I'm not Jeesus". (Heavy subject matter, sexual abuse of a child, Corey himself, I'm not Jeesus = I can not forgive.) Apocalyptica ft. Lzzy Hale "Talk to Me", fairly new video.
i think you’re bang on with middle eastern vibe SOOOOO GOOOD 👍,1st time i watched a reaction from you 🙂,sheffield 🇬🇧 1971,Cello is in my top 3 all time alongside violin and piano
These are two brothers who were taught to play by their Grandfather who was a talented Russian Cellist. They were on America's Got Talent when they were teenagers. Their website is great fun...
Also check out the Kronos Quartet - a string quartet who, besides playing music of 20thC composers, were covering Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze", and jazz pianist Bill Evans' music back in 1986. They didn't present it in such a theatrical way, but back then they were considered to be groundbreaking.
You should check out some of their live stuff but highly recommend highway to hell cover with Steve Vie and I’d also recommend the trooper overture and smooth criminal covers but these to are absolutely amazing
Every time I see this performance, I laugh to myself at the little girl in the red dress. You should listen to them perform The Pirates Of The Caribbean, or cover AVIICI’s Wake Me.
Oohw the one on the left is Hauser I've known him for a while, does a lot with a beautiful woman Sinorita or Lola but this Cello duo is new to me. Great Cello player is Hauser and nice to see too hihi
@@MartinSteed, Saw a video of Hauser doing SLUM DOG MILLIONAIRE or the song from it. You must check out all their other videos. I only just found them a couple of nights ago. There is a crazy one where A planet touches the Earth while they are playing, The building is falling down all around them, the audience running for their lives. Really enjoyed it.
2 cellos was part of the Elton Johns band for a while. They would do a performance before Elton John came out. They are truly masterful with what they can do with a cello.
i think he saw them on youtube and said he just had to work with them. so Elton John asked them if they wanted to work with him, not the other way around, which is just crazy.
@@sam-psonsmith9951, I saw a YT video of Elton John saying that he was shown their video SMOOTH CRIMINAL video and got them to play in the band. also I just saw a bit of a video where the duo played live with the leader of Aerosmith live on stage. Only found their videos a couple of nights ago and was blown away by their talent.
I think Elton John came out quite a while before 2cellos joined his band lmao (Before I get hate, I know you meant before Elton came on stage to perform, I'm just pushing your buttons for thrills)
I have said this before about this video. The audience reaction is possibly not realistic. At that stage , audiences expected wild and different improvisation as a matter of course. You should see their electric cellos. They are pieces of minimalist art! Check out their other "rock" classic covers . Even just for yourself. About time someone really explored what a cello can do. When you think about it , the cello covers about the same frequency range as a guitar.
There are a number of other excellent videos of 2Chellos. Start with either Highway to Hell also featuring Steve Vai, or the Sydney Opera house cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit which also has a lead-in from their drummer.
Oh, Sabina if you liked that one you need to react to some of their improv videos where they just set up and play on a street. Also, check this one out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x8yymm3DtVA.html It is a mashup of Beethoven's Fifth and Led Zepplin's Whole Lota Love.
Greetings from Germany...oh, oh..i'm not quite OK with that what you've said: " Cello is a classic, beautyful Instrument.. a great idea to take a song, in a completely different genre, from what your instrument expected to play.." Did Stradivari said, 400 years ago, "Classic Instruments should not be abuse for this 'Devil's music'". Actualy classic composer and builder of classic Instruments founded Heavy Metal. For example this crazy dude called Richard Wagner...he doubled the bass in concert Halls, he let people hammer on anvils like beserkers. Or what about my favorite. Franz Liszt, a real wild one, at the Piano. People didnt believed what they hearing, his unexpected breakdowns, his real weird switches. Things they never did in this time. Not to forget...the 'Devil's Violinist' Paganini. The 'Jimi Hendrix' on the strings. See, things are not that different, didn't have to be the oposite. Or the 'good and the evil'. You have to watch things from different views. From any angle. So many misunderstandings would not arise in the first place. Next month is my 50th Birthday. 35 years of my life i'm a Metalhead, in first place. The eighties were the worst years for me. I've always treaded like a violent, drunk, dangerous, antisocial, drug dealing criminal. Just because of my long hair and my 'Iron Maiden' T-shirt. Young and stubborn as i was, i began to fill the role, and also i began to hate other music genres. Well, my parents(r.i.p) didnt raised me that way. Thanks for that, mum & dad.😊 so, i grow up, saw other sides of the story, stopped hating, accepting different people with differents taste and lifestyles. One of my deepest, best and important lesson i've learned for my life. Again, with the luck to have had such great and loving parents. Excuse me, if it sounds like a attack on you. Thats the last thing i want..and i'm sure, smart and kind as you are, you think quite the similar way like i do...it's all about the Power of music, and the way we need music in our life's ...no matter wich genre or style...thats why i don't like to cut music in all this sub genres. Like Prog metal, Nu Metal, Death-Trash-Speed-, Rock, Hardrock, and so on.. thats sucks. All this shit talking like :"It's grunch, the new Metal, better than your winy symphonic metal."...no, fuck you and your commercial Metallica shit". No one is the best singer, the best Band.. accept for you. Uff, damned..i just wanted to say that i love you, please don't mind, you and your reactions. Your smile, your excitment and your passion for music in generell. Its such a lovin joy watching the things you do. And crazy too..i can watch you every day, learn to knowing you..but strange when i think bout it, that othersides, you have no clue who the hell i am, i guess, you will even never see me. And for sure you have no intrest in thinking: "..hey, i'm curious how that guy reacts to my favorite song. I bet he will cry some tears.". But that are things wich going round in my head,..as a watched and lover of reactions of intressting people from all arround the world. Try to look at this from my side. First its difficult, than it gets confuse and finaly you will feel strange and say to yourself.."..damned, thats true and now i understand all this much better." The worst case were, of course, if you just think. "What the hell is this weird german krautrock-guy talking about...?" 🤣😅😊....never mind, my Lovelylady. Stay Safe and have a peaceful week. ..from Köln/Cologne. ...Stefan🌈💚🥰😊✌🤘
These guys are brothers from Croatia and they've been doing incredible performances all over the world for years. Selling out huge venues wherever they go. Not only do they do fantastic adaptations but they're funny as hell too! I love Thunderstruck because everyone is dressed in period clothing and at the end the audience looked like they were Godsmacked but the few kids there love it! Now, here is an example of them doing a modern treatment of Bon Jovi;s "Livin' on a Prayer". The performance is great and so is the staging and lighting and complete with carbon fiber cellos! They have a lot of material on RU-vid, look 'em up! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VvqImsjpfPo.html
Not brothers, Luka Šulić is Slovenian and Stjepan Hauser is Croatian, They met at a music master class as teens and became strong friends and the rest is as they say History
Fantastic channel Sabina. I like it. I suscribe. Please react to Monica Naranjo - Europa (Live). She's awesome. An incredible voice. Greetings from Spain. Link 😊👇
